  • 2014: UP, lo showroom Acmei apre a Bari

    UP, onomatopea di energia fisica e mentale, è il brand ACMEI che propone gli showroom dedicati particolarmente al settore illuminotecnico, con domotica ed efficienza energetica che implementano la proposta destinata ai progettisti e ai consumer.

    Lo stile della location si declina attraverso il total white; forme estremamente sintetiche e distribuzione raffinata di volumi, esaltano la generosa proposta di articoli di alta gamma. La galleria espositiva inizia già all’esterno accompagnando il visitatore nel percorso che si conclude, all’interno, con una sala tecnica destinata alla progettazione. Un bagno di luce, esaltazione del bello con i corpi illuminanti in esposizione. L’arte del buon gusto espressa anche attraverso la funzionalità.

    UP LIGHTDESIGN ACMEI distribuisce i prodotti dei maggiori brands presenti sul mercato dell’illuminazione. Le attività formative e tutte le novità relative a prodotti e normative trovano spazio nel nuovo showroom per i settori residenziale, architetturale, arredo urbano, tecnico, decorativo.

  • 2013: ACMEI APRE A MATERA

    Coccolare e viziare i materani: Acmei decide di aprire una filiale nella splendida Città Dei Sassi.

    Una sede Acmei a Matera significa offrire alla città l’opportunità di essere seguita più da vicino - per produrre un rapporto privilegiato con il mercato locale - così come declina la campagna di comunicazione pensata in occasione della apertura.

    La filiale è centro pilota per organizzazione ed esempio di comunicazione. Innovazione nel servizio e nella proposta: pensata l’accoglienza esterna, con uno spazio esemplare studiato per il parcheggio, il carico e lo scarico ed una segnaletica orizzontale molto smart. La facciata attira l’attenzione per il suo prospetto glamour e inusuale per il settore; all’interno, il retrobanco offre una scenografia museale, con una esposizione che valorizza ogni articolo esattamente come avviene nelle gallerie d’arte. All’interno rapporto umano, destinato a creare empatia tra i numerosi clienti e il personale al front office.

  • 2013: RESTYLING SEDE DI MODUGNO

    Ridisegnato il prospetto esterno della filiale di Modugno.

    L’idea è rendere più accogliente e comunicativa la facciata esterna attraverso un maquillage che si ispira alla epica cartellonistica americana anni 50: grandi spazi, gigantismo di forte impatto e testimonial che rappresenta lo spirito aziendale.

    Colori sociali riprodotti anche nella tinteggiatura delle strutture, e spazi immediatamente identificabili per funzione e destinazione di uso. 

    Più comunicazione, più efficienza, più servizio.

    Quaranta anni Acmei significano vittorie e momenti difficili superati con successo, ma soprattutto ancora tanta voglia di costruire, crescere e implementare lo sviluppo del territorio.

  • 2011: EXPANSION OF THE FOGGIA BRANCH

    With a total surface area of ​​900 square metres, the new Foggia sales point has an area dedicated exclusively to lighting technology and private customers, run by dedicated staff as well as a reserved area for installers and professionals.  The strong point of this office is its strategic location, near the entrance of the city of Foggia.

  • 2012: LAMEZIA TERME TECHNICAL SALES OFFICE

    Acmei inaugurated a technical sales office Lamezia Terme, in the province of Catanzaro, to support the positive growth of a market trend.

    Built on an area of 150 square metres, in via del Progresso 302, the establishment provides technical sales consultancy services and training for customers throughout the Calabria region.

    The commercial structure has four internal consultants side-by-side with nine external sales unit, to achieve greater capillarity of the territory.

    The Lamezia Terme technical office replaces a previous representative agency. The organisation and management have thus become more centralized and connected to the Triggiano headquarters.

  • 2011: START UP OF LOGISTIC PLATFORM

    The Acmei integrated logistics system has been developed through the planning, organisation and monitoring of all activities aimed at creating a customer service that is able to satisfy all needs in terms of quality, time and cost.

    The distribution centre, which supplies the 6 warehouses located in the territory, has been designed and manufactured using innovative tools and technologies: modern shelving, automatic vertical warehouses, internal handling systems and radio frequency data transmission systems are amongst a few of the key elements that guarantee high reliability levels of storage, transport, warehousing and commissioning.

    Already present in Taranto for over 10 years with a technical sales office, the sales point was a natural organizational evolution, aimed at providing greater availability of products and services to our established client base.

  • 2009: OPENING OF BRANCH IN SAN GIOVANNI TEATINO (CH)

    The 6,000 square metres of the establishment, including 4,000 square metres set up for the storage of the 20,000 items handled, bring light to the philosophy based on customer service, which has always inspired the strategic choices of ACMEI. The organization of the new branch follows the same organisational prototype that has been extensively tested at other sites within the group on all levels.

  • 2007: NEW WAREHOUSE IN MODUGNO (BA)

    Situated within the Sirio Center di Modugno (Ba) industrial area, the new warehouse is dedicated exclusively to the storage of cables. It was created to support the existing logistic centre and is developed over a surface area of 1,500 square metres. The warehouse is able to accommodate 600 coils to a rack, 450 flow-rail positions and 5 automatic cable cutting machines.

  • 2005: NEW LOGISTICS CENTRE IN MODUGNO (BA)

    Mainly dedicated to the Basilicata area and the North Bari province, the new logistics centre, created to support the Modugno branch, covers an area of 3000 square metres.

  • 2003: OPENING OF BRANCH IN MODUGNO (BA)

    The branch developed a total surface area of 1500 square metres within the Sirio Center di Modugno (Ba) industrial area.

  • 2002: CONSTITUTION OF MEDEL S.R.L. - ACMEI GROUP IN CASARANO (LE)

    A leader in the Salento area, during recent years it experienced an increase in performance leading to the expansion of the structure with a new sales point in the Lecce area.

    Technical-commercial office equipped with a call centre with 4 employees and 3 sales agents, all supported by an area Manager.

  • 1998: TRANSFER OF REGISTERED OFFICE TO TRIGGIANO (BA) AND CHANGE OF LEGAL FORM TO S.P.A.

    In the meantime, the third generation also began to provide their contribution and so the founder's grandchildren, Saverio and Anna, joined their father's side in the commercial and administrative management of the company. Over the years, Acmei has progressively expanded and established itself as a market leader in the distribution of electrical equipment in South Italy: in fact, in 1998, the impressive new headquarters in Triggiano was inaugurated and, in the face of a new managerial business approach, the company changed legal form to become an s.p.a. (a company limited by shares).

    The company took on a more fitting legal structure by changing from an s.r.l. (Ltd.) to an s.a.s. (LP) in 1985.

  • 1977: THE LIMITED COMPANY

    In conjunction with the evolution of the electricity market, in the late 80 's, the company's management was taken on by Domenico Tavarilli, son of the founder and the legal form of the company then changed to a limited company: Acmei S.r.l.

  • 1973: START UP OF FIRST RETAIL ACTIVITIES IN VIALE PAPA GIOVANNI XXIII-BARI

    Tavarilli founded and inaugurated Acmei S.n.c - Azienda Commerciale Materiale Elettrico Ingrosso (Company for Commercial Wholesale of Electrical Supplies) - in March 1973. The company handled retail of electrical equipment in a small, unassuming sales point in the heart of the city.
